PLANO, Texas — June Jenkins and Sherasa Thomas of Collin County's NAACP were hopeful for an open and honest dialogue about race and equity at Plano ISD. The group held an online speaking forum on Wednesday night where superintendent Sara Bonser, Chief Operations Officer Theresa Williams, and assistant superintendent Courtney Gober fielded questions.
"This is not a situation where we can just vent and that'll be the end of it," said Thomas, the political action chair for the local NAACP.
