Dayton lifts dog ban
Growing up, I always had at least two dogs running around the house.
We had breeder dogs, animal shelter dogs and even rescued a dog from a neglectful home. My parents always taught my brother and me to train our dogs so we would have the best furry family members.
I was intrigued when I learned that people in Dayton, home to about 5,500 people along the Ohio River across from Cincinnati, are now allowed to own pit bulls.
