Biden finished his town hall and then after greeting Mount St. Joseph University president Dr. H. James Williams headed back to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
8:30 p.m.: Biden: We gotta fix that damn bridge of yours
Biden called Ohio Sen. Rob Portman a decent, honorable man as he pledged that Congress will reach a deal on infrastructure.
Senate Republicans blocked an effort today to start debate on the bipartisan package being negotiated by Portman and other senators. Biden said he expects the Senate to proceed with debate Monday after a group of Republicans committed to moving forward once the legislation is drafted.

Dayton lifts dog ban
Growing up, I always had at least two dogs running around the house.
We had breeder dogs, animal shelter dogs and even rescued a dog from a neglectful home. My parents always taught my brother and me to train our dogs so we would have the best furry family members.
I was intrigued when I learned that people in Dayton, home to about 5,500 people along the Ohio River across from Cincinnati, are now allowed to own pit bulls.
