Pillen signs bill to gain $1.4 billion in extra Medicaid aid

North Platte state Sen. Mike Jacobson introduced LB 1087, which will nominally charge hospitals 6% of gross income to unlock some $1.4 billion in extra reimbursements to serve Medicaid patients.
