The New England Patriots are wasting no time in filling multiple needs for their roster for the 2021 season.WCVBs Chris Gasper has confirmed through league sources that the Patriots have agreed to terms with two free agent wide receivers Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.Agholor and Bourne are among the seven outside free agents that New England reportedly agreed to sign on Monday, the first day of the NFL's legal free agent tampering period.Agholor will sign a two-year, $26 million contract with the Patriots, while Bourne is getting a three-year, $22.5 million deal with New England.Agholor has played six seasons in the NFL and had a bounce-back year with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020. He caught 48 passes this past season for a career-high 896 receiving yards and eight touchdown catches, which tied a career-best.The 27-year-old played the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, who drafted him with the No. 20 overall pick in the first round of the 2015 draft. Agholor won a Super Bowl title during his tenure with the Eagles, a victory that came at the expense of the Patriots.The University of Southern California product has played in 87 career NFL games. He has 272 receptions, 3,411 receiving yards and 26 receiving touchdowns.Bourne, meanwhile, has played all four of his NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He has 137 career catches with 1,769 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions in 58 regular-season games.The 25-year-old was initially signed by the 49ers in April 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington University.NFL Network's Ian Rapoport was the first to report the deals with Agholor and Bourne.According to Rapoport, the Patriots also agreed to terms with defensive lineman Henry Anderson on a two-year deal.Anderson was released by the New York Jets on March 2 after playing in 16 games and making eight starts in 2020. He recorded 40 total tackles and half a sack last season while playing as a defensive end in a 3-4 scheme.The 29-year-old was originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts with the 93rd overall pick in the third round of the 2015 draft. He played the first three seasons of his six-year NFL career with the Colts, who traded him to the Jets in April 2018.The Stanford University product has played 74 career games with 43 starts. He's racked up 158 total tackles with 11.5 sacks, eight pass deflections, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.New England has also reportedly agreed to deals with the following free agents: Tight end Jonnu Smith, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, Pro Bowl pass rusher Matthew Judon and defensive back Jalen Mills.Notable Patriots contract agreements reported this week:Jonnu Smith, TEMatthew Judon, OLBDavon Godchaux, DTJalen Mills, DBNelson Agholor, WRKendrick Bourne, WRHunter Henry, TEJudon, Mills and Smith each confirmed that they are signing with the Pats via social media.The Patriots, however, did lose one of their own free agents on Monday, as offensive guard Joe Thuney reached an agreement to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs. Thuney was an Associated Press Second Team All-Pro in 2019 and is a member of the New England Patriots 2010s All-Decade Team.ESPN's Mike Reiss reports that defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr. has agreed to return to New England. The 26-year-old has played in 62 of a possible 64 career NFL regular-season games, all with the Pats, with 18 starts. He has posted 120 total tackles with 14 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Any reported transactions will not be official until the new NFL league year begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday.The Patriots officially announced that they re-signed defensive lineman Carl Davis, a six-year NFL veteran who was set to become an unrestricted free agent. He played in three games for New England last season with one start and made three tackles before being placed on injured reserve on Nov. 28.
