Kingwood resident Chris Parker announced her candidacy for the Humble ISD school board Wednesday, Jan. 13 with her husband, children and mother in attendance.
"I fully understand the importance of providing our youth a competitive education that prepares them for a global world, which is a daunting task. I am pursuing this position with a commitment to maximize student outcomes while promising fiscal responsibility to the community. I firmly believe that teacher inclusion is imperative to formulate strategic planning from the bottom up, rather than top down," she said.
