Local filmmaker Devin Fei-Fan Tau follows four LGBTQ+ individuals as they prepare and climb Mount Hood.
Portland filmmaker Devin Fei-Fan Tau emigrated from Taiwan to suburban Los Angeles as a child and watched such iconic television shows as "Star Trek" to help him learn English.
So, when he had the opportunity to meet George Takei, who played Sulu on the original "Star Trek" TV series, he couldn't have been more thrilled.
"You know how people say you shouldn't meet your childhood hero because they might disappoint you?" Tau said. "Well, that was not the case. So respectful, so enjoyable, so polite, so cool. I was a fanboy."
