An extensively renovated house — sliced in the 1950s from a 1924 mansion designed by noted architect Addison Mizer — has changed hands for a recorded $15.25 million in a lakeside neighborhood off Palm Beach’s Billionaire’s Row.
On a dry lot, the house at 12 Lagomar Road was completely rebuilt in an award-winning project about a decade ago by its sellers, interior designer Joanne de Guardiola and her investment banker husband, Roberto A. de Guardiola Jr. 
The buyer was a Massachusetts limited liability company, Dahlia Associates LLC, linked to Boston attorney and businesswoman Danielle E. deBenedictus, according to the deed recorded Friday. She and her husband, real estate developer Peter Karlson, have residential ties to Palm Beach, Greater Boston and Nantucket, Massachusetts, where their holdings include The Summer House inn.
