An extensively renovated house sliced in the 1950s from a 1924 mansion designed by noted architect Addison Mizer has changed hands for a recorded $15.25 million in a lakeside neighborhood off Palm Beach’s Billionaire’s Row.
On a dry lot, the house at 12 Lagomar Road was completely rebuilt in an award-winning project about a decade ago by its sellers, interior designer Joanne de Guardiola and her investment banker husband, Roberto A. de Guardiola Jr.
The buyer was a Massachusetts limited liability company, Dahlia Associates LLC, linked to Boston attorney and businesswoman Danielle E. deBenedictus, according to the deed recorded Friday.
