NASHIK: A 38-year-old man from the Cidco area of Nashik city, suspected of being Covidpositive, died at a civic-run hospital here on Thursday morning. His family claimed that he died after failing to get a bed “in time” at other hospitals, following which Nashik municipal commissioner Kailas Jadhav ordered a probe.
The man, who worked in a hardware shop, developed symptoms of fever and cough on March 27. He took treatment from a local doctor, who also suggested a Covid-19 test. The man felt his health condition would improve over the next two days, so did not get the Covid-19 test done, his wife told TOI.
