Close to 6,500 (6,489) Covid-19 deaths have been reported across Maharashtra in the first nine days of June, but almost 60% of these are from data reconciliation in which unrecorded deaths from previous months and weeks are added to the tally. Uniindia: Nashik, Jun 5 (UNI) A meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority was held today. The positivity rate in the district and Nashik Municipal Corporation area as well as the available number of oxygen beds were taken into consideration. Taking into account the changes in the positivity rate from time to time as well as the immediate increase in the number of patients after the relaxation of the restrictions last year, the District Disaster Management Authority has unanimously decided to maintain the Level 3 restrictions. Level 3 matters will be implemented in the district. Detailed orders in this regard will be passed as soon as possible and will come into force from Monday. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has said that industries and businesses should be started by strictly abiding by all the restrictions as per the order of the District Disaster Management Authority.
