One of the last surviving Dunkirk fighters who spent five years as a prisoner of war has died at 104

Major John Errington, the oldest veteran of the Royal Scots regiment who fought in rearguard defence at the battle of Le Paradis in Northern France in 1940, has died at his family home, east of Penicuik.
