OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) - The good times will not be rolling in Ocean Springs in 2021. The board of alderman unanimously voted Wednesday to cancel the two Mardi Gras parades the city usually holds each year.
Not everyone was a fan of the decision, though. Some community members pushed back, pointing out that other events such as Cruisin’ the Coast and the Peter Anderson Festival were permitted.
