WXXV News 25 July 5, 2021 The Blue Moon Art Project contest is back ahead of the Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival. Now is your time to enter for a chance to win $2,000 and more. As a part of the contest, applicants across the state, ages 21 and older, are encouraged to submit a painting showing their interpretation of Blue Moon. This year’s theme is ‘Where do you Blue Moon?’ Each piece that’s entered is judged by a jury committee. The winner’s painting will be chosen as the symbol for Blue Moon’s marketing surrounding the following year’s Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival. ....

The clays that settle in the Delta pick up minerals and impurities along their path, which lowers their melting point.
