HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Oakwood University Church will head back on the road to deliver bottled water to those in need, this time in Jackson, Mississippi. The volunteers will be leaving early Monday.
The state's largest city has been without water for weeks due to the winter storms.
The church along with the "Drug Alternative Program" and "Breath of Life Television Ministries" have at least two trucks loaded with cases of water that was collected from the community.
Leaders say giving back goes beyond the four walls of their church.
