Oak Hills High School's Jeni Boulanger nominated for national Patricia Behring Teacher of the Year Award

An Oak Hills High School teacher has been nominated for a prestigious award from a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the teaching and learning of history.
Jeni Boulanger was nominated as the California senior division, or high school, nominee for the Patricia Behring Teacher of the Year Award in the National History Day, or NHD, National Contest.
NHD is an annual competition at the local, state and national level in which students conduct original research on historical topics. More than half a million students and more than 30,000 teachers participate every year, according to the nonprofit.
