Northwestern Local elementary principal leaving district

DISCUSSION  Brightbill has served as building principal for two years and had previously held the position of middle school principal for four years.
He will be taking over as a principal in Stark County's Lake Local Schools, a district closer to his home.
The opening for Northwestern Elementary School principal has been posted, Superintendent Jeffrey Layton said.
High School Principal Randall Hafner was approved for a three-year contract, Aug. 1, 2022 - July 31, 2025.
A three-year contract, effective for the same dates, also was approved for High School  Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Anita Jorney-Gifford.
OTHER BUSINESS
Treasurer Lesa Forbes will present the district's financial forecast at a meeting later this month.
