No charges in botched slaughter at NDSU Meat Lab
“While the USDA did find the incident to be a violation of the Humane Methods of Slaughter Act and the Federal Meat Inspection Act, they concluded that formal charges were not necessary to address the violation,” the Cass County State's Attorney Office said.
