  The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, has claimed that over 163,000 Nigerians benefitted from the Nigerian government’s inter-state 50 percent transportation fare for the Christmas and New Year period.   The Minister, who is the Chairman of the Committee on the Implementation of the End of Year Transportation Subsidy Programme of President Bola Tinubu, said this in a progress report released on Monday. Alake said that beneficiaries of the transport subsidy saved N21,500 and N15,000 each on trips to Abuja and Onisha.
