Nigerian Army Appoints New Principal Staff, General Officers Commanding, Provost Marshall, Others

  The newly appointed Chief Of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, has appointed Major General A.B Ibrahim, as the Chief of Policy and Plans (COPP). The appointment was sequel to the gap created by the retirement of some officers as a result of the appointment of new service chiefs by President Bola Tinubu on June 19. According to the report, Lagbaja, has also approved the appointment of New General Officers Commanding (GOCs), for some of the divisions of the Nigerian army and commandant for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Daily Sun reports.
