Newport News to rotate council meeting locations next year to be more equitable to residents

To help make council meetings more accessible, the Newport News City Council plans to rotate meeting locations to other parts of the city in 2024. Meetings are currently held at City Hall, located in the southern part of the city, a 20-mile drive for residents who live in northern parts of the city.
