As they face a special election this month, Nauset school district voters have questions.
They have shared their confusion about the upcoming vote on the Nauset Regional High School building proposal on social media and with the Cape Cod Times. Questions focus on the mail-in voting procedures, and what the debt-exclusion language on the funding question actually means.
Eastham Town Clerk Cindy Nicholson said her office is usually inundated with questions when elections are imminent. But in this case — while the district has held information sessions, and town select boards and finance committees have weighed in — voters don’t have the same opportunity to ask about and discuss issues as they do when Town Meetings are held.
