Eastham elects a slate of town officials; Housing Authority seat empty

Eastham voters, 894 of them, went out to vote Tuesday for an election with five uncontested races. Jamie Demetri (847 votes) ran unopposed for one three-year term on the Select Board. She is currently the chairwoman of the Select Board.  Patricia Aurigemma (848 votes) ran unopposed for the one seat on the Nauset Regional School Committee. That position is a three-year term.  Edgar Miranda (851 votes) ran unopposed for the one seat on the Eastham Elementary School Committee, a three-year term. There was no candidate running for the open slot on the Housing Authority. The position is for five years. (Eileen Morgan got 45 write-in votes; Jim McMakin got 10 write-in votes.)
