It comes as quite a surprise to learn that Nathan Connolly is releasing his solo debut album. For someone who has spent over 20 years as a member of one of the biggest bands to emerge from this island — Snow Patrol — and who has collaborated with a dizzying array of artists, it feels as though he has been there, done that when it comes to solo output.
