Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has visited his predecessor, Willie Obiano, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, amid the latter’s trial for alleged money laundering by the Nigeria's anti-corruption agency the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). SaharaReporters reported on Wednesday that EFCC arraigned Obiano before before Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja on nine counts, bordering on “stealing and corruption." The anti-graft agency accused the former governor of allegedly stealing N4,008,573,350 from security vote.
