The decision by Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners’ director to attend a pro-Trump protest in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6 was the subject of a debate among dozens of county residents on Tuesday — some critical of her actions and some defending her rights to be there.
The protest in Washington turned into a violent attempt at insurrection as some protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol while the Electoral College votes were being tallied.
