Muncie man accused of dealing heroin to task force agent
MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man is accused of twice selling heroin to an informant for the Muncie-Delaware County Drug Task Force.
Darius James Walker, 29, was arrested Wednesday on two counts of dealing in a narcotic drug, a Level 5 felony carrying up to six years in prison.
According to court documents, Walker sold a total of 1.6 grams of the drug, for $200, to an informant on Feb. 2 and March 11.
The transactions allegedly took place at Walker's home in the 600 block of South Wolfe Street.
When taken into custody Wednesday, the Muncie man allegedly had Xanax pills hidden in one of his socks.
