PREPARING. KYLIE: SHELTERS HERE ARE TRYING TO GO WITH THE FLO STAFF TELL ME THEY’RE STARTING TO EXPLAIN THE PROCESS TO SHELTERS GUEST SOME ARE ALREADY GETTING INFORMATION TO REGISTER THEIR EMPLOYEE SOME STAFF AT MIRACLE HILL RESCUE MISSION HAVE ALREADY STARTED TO GET VACCINATED. THE SHELTER OPENED A COVID-19 QUARANTINE FACILITY, SO STAFF THERE WERE ABLE TO QUALIFY UND PHASE 1A OVER AT THE SALVATION ARMY, ONE OF THE DIRECTORS SAYS THEY’VE STARTED HAVING CONVERSATIO WITH STAFF AND GUESTS ABOUT THE VACCINE. LAUREN STEPHENS SAYS THEY’VE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH PRISMA, AND STARTED TO GET SIGN-UP INFORMATION FOR THEIR STAFF A FEW WEEKS AGO. >> WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SPREADSHEET TO FILL OUT. THE NEXT STEP FO THAT IS THAT IT WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE VAN SYSTEM. IT IS A STRAIGHTFORWARD PROCESS. YOU PUT IN YOUR FIRST NAME AND A LAST NAME AND AN EMAIL ADDRESS. IT IS BEING REGISTERED -- THERE ARE SENDING AN INVITATION. KYLIE: STEPHENS SAYS THEY’RE ENCOURAGING EVERY STAFF MEMBER TO PUT THEIR NAME ON THE LIST AND DECIDE WHETHER THEY WANT THE VACCINE WHEN THEY GET THAT INVITATION. AS FOR RESIDENTS, SHELTERS A STILL FIGURING OUT WHAT VACCINE SIGN-UP WILL LOOK LIKE FOR THEM.
