PODGORICA (Montenegro), March 9 (SeeNews) - Montenegro has received the second batch of 2,000 doses of Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine from Serbia, the government in Podgorica said on Tuesday.
The authorities will use the newly delivered doses to start revaccination of patients at the Home for the Elderly in Risan on Thursday, healthcare minister Jelena Borovinic Bojovic said in a statement.
Montenegro received the first batch of a donation of a total of 4,000 Sputnik V vaccines from Serbia on February 17.
The country's health authorities approved Russia's Sputnik V vaccine for the immunisation of its citizens against COVID-19 under the emergency use authorisation procedure without additional local clinical trials earlier in February.
