The town of Sharon is conducting Town Meeting at the ConVal gymnasium this year to make space for social distancing.
Voting is still scheduled to take place at the Sharon Meeting House on March 9 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the business portion of Town Meeting is scheduled for the next day, Wednesday, March 10, in the ConVal gym.
Masks are required at both venues, Town Administrator Debra Harling said.
The 2021 budget is set at $370,812, a 1.37 percent decrease from the $375,955 voted in at last year’s meeting. Sanitation and ambulance costs have increased this year, but costs associated with the Fire department dropped by nearly $10,000, according to the town budget document.
