Since the beginning of their respective film careers in the mid-70s, Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu have been the thickest of friends. During every trip to Chennai, the Tamil superstar has this habit of visiting the Telugu actor and vice versa. The legendary duo has also worked together in “Pedarayudu”, the Telugu remake of “Nattamai”.
In the second week of April, Rajinikanth joined the sets of Siruthai Siva's Annaatthe in Hyderabad and wrapped up his portions by camping in the city for more than a month. While 60% of the shoot was completed last year before the lockdown, the penultimate schedule came to a grinding halt in December 2020 when four crew tested positive for COVID-19. Though the 70-year-old superstar tested negative, the stress had caused fluctuations in his blood pressure level, requiring hospitalization.
