Two men from out of state were arrested in Cumberland County after deputies found approximately 36 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $100,000 on Monday, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrested Teddy Asiamah, 43, of Buffalo, New York, and Patrick Hawkins, 48, of Webb, Mississippi, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release. They face charges of trafficking by possession of drugs, trafficking by transport and conspiracy to traffic marijuana. They were each given bail set at $15,000, according to the release.
