Taiwan-based memory module maker Apacer expects the memory spot price to rise and the contract price to stabilize in the third quarter of 2023, while memory demand is expected to recover quarter by quarter in the second half, but is unlikely to enjoy a surging increase, according to company president C. K. Chang, who added that the memory industry should return on track with the resumption of memory demand from key applications including servers, PCs and smartphones in 2024.
