GRANVILLE – His career took what he called a “meandering path” – until he came to Denison University. So it was for Professor Abram Kaplan, the school’s program director of environmental studies.
“When I was a kid,” he said, “I was sure I was going to be an archaeologist or a paleontologist, because I always loved fossils and finding interesting things in the dirt. My parents both worked in the environmental field, broadly defined, so I certainly had that influence in my life, but I’m not sure I really knew I wanted to go that route professionally until college and beyond.”
