MCOP opens Health Hub at The Opportunity Center
The Orchard East Health Hub is opening at The Opportunity Center at ALCC as a project of Monroe County Opportunity Program, providing a site for a range of health and medical services.
MCOP handles operations at the Opportunity Center, formerly known as the Arthur Lesow Community Center, 120 Eastchester St. MCOP said this effort fits in with its mission as a Community Action Agency to "reduce the effects of poverty by empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and mobilizing resources."
The Orchard East Health Hub is the first to be designated a "Community Health Hub" in Monroe County. Services will be available both for those with health insurance and those who do not have health insurance.
