Mayor confirms separation of position for Tulum’s director of tourism

Tulum, Q.R. — Tulum’s director of tourism has been separated from his position. Tulum mayor, Victor Mas Tah, has confirmed the separation. The mayor has clarified that Eugenio Barbachano Losa, director of Tourism of the Tulum City Council, will remain separated from his position during an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior.
He said that the investigation is being headed by the Municipal Comptroller’s Office, but did not provide details. He only noted that it was the Comptroller’s Office who made the request for the separation.
