The Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister said this as Sandakan district joins Tawau and Lahad Datu as MCO imposed districts, while the MCO in Keningau is set to end on Sunday (April 18) as scheduled.
“Kota Kinabalu appears to have stabilised with seven new cases on Saturday, and so there's no truth to the rumours of a MCO in Kota Kinabalu, ” he tweeted on Saturday (April 17).
Sabah recorded 163 new cases on Saturday, with Tawau contributing the highest figure at 95 cases, followed by Lahad Datu (25 cases) and Sandakan (13).
Masidi, in a press statement afterwards said two new clusters were reported in Tawau, which is the Bukit Quoin cluster with 11 cases and the Jalan Damai cluster with 14 cases.
