The National Weather Service is tracking how much snow the nor’easter dropped across Massachusetts, and much of the coast — including Boston — missed the bulk of the storm.
The reported totals are much higher to the west and north of the city, according to reports shared by the service just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The reported statewide high is two feet in Lowell, and most of Northeastern, Central, and Western Massachusetts got well over a foot of snow.
Southeastern Massachusetts, particularly Plymouth County and Cape Cod, got much less snowfall, reaching only a few inches at most. The area from around Cape Ann to Boston Harbor also missed most of the snow.
