MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Police Department has a new patrol officer, after a Special Law Enforcement Officer II was promoted Tuesday.
Patrolman Sage Sysol, who joined the Manchester police department in January, was sworn in Tuesday as a patrolman by Mayor Kenneth T. Palmer in front of family and a limited number of police, Lt. Vincent Manco said.
He graduated from Pinelands Regional High School in 2015 and earned his associate's degree from Ocean County College. He is working toward his bachelor's degree through Kean University. Sysol worked as a Special Law Enforcement Officer I in Seaside Heights and SLEO II in Little Egg Harbor Township before he was hired in Manchester.
