A CARLISLE man 'bounced' his pal and lodger down stairs having pulled him out of bed while seeking to evict him.
Sixty-year-old Nigel David Colvin allowed friend Alistair Bradshaw to stay with him for a short time as he saved up a deposit for his own property.
Mr Bradshaw was described as being “dependant on alcohol”, the city’s crown court was told.
On July 8 last year, the pair drank together at the address throughout the day.
“The defendant decided to eject the complainant from the house because the complainant was drunk,” said prosecutor Claire Brocklebank.
“The complainant was in bed. The defendant dragged him out bed, pulled him down the stairs and physically ejected him through the front door.
