Man sentenced to life in killing of UAB student at Galleria during theft of cash, THC vape cartridges

Jefferson County Circuit Judge Alaric May on Tuesday sentenced 25-year-old Xavier Marqise Thompson to life in prison with the possibility of parole. A jury in March convicted Thompson of felony murder in the killing of 20-year-old Zachariah Taylor Music.
