I find myself repeating this but the fact needs to be reiterated – we are still in the middle of a world-wide pandemic with a deadlier second wave that has left India and Indians breathless. Literally. It is the fifth consecutive day that India has posted over 3 lakhs daily cases that has resulted in the complete collapse of the healthcare infrastructure. However, that didn’t stop certain Bollywood celebrities from taking to their exotic vacays and publishing ‘sunkissed’ pictures from exotic locales while the entire country was busy rummaging for survival resources. If that doesn’t tell you about privilege and apathy, I don’t know what will.
