Lufkin Police have released the name of the person killed in Wednesday night's 3-vehicle accident on Timberland Drive. The victim in last night’s fatality crash is identified as Ashley Huffhines, 34, of Lufkin.
The driver of the Cadillac Escalade is identified as Gabriel Galindo, 32, of Lufkin. His three children, ages 11, 9 and 7, were also in the vehicle.

The driver of the Jeep Liberty is identified as Galindo’s wife, Maria Galindo, 32, of Lufkin.

The Galindo family was headed southbound on Timberland Drive in separate vehicles, attempting to turn left onto Nesbitt Avenue to go home. That is when Huffhines, who was traveling northbound on Timberland Drive in a Nissan Altima, veered into the turn lane, hitting the Cadillac head-on.
