Gremil Alexis Naz, OCD-5 spokesperson, said in an interview that heavy rains were spawned by Tropical Storm Florita, which made landfall over Maconacon, Isabela. "Fifteen out of the 20 flooding incidents were in Legazpi City, two in Libon, one in Camalig, all in Albay province, and one in Caramoan and Nabua Camarines Sur. of all the reported flooded areas, only the Nabua, Camarines Sur has not yet subsided," he said. Naz said five roads were initially reported to be unpassable, but two have been announced passable to motorists as of this writing. Four seaports in Barangay Guijalo in Caramoan, Tamban in Gatchitorena, Nato in the municipality of Sagnay and Sabang in San Jose in Camarines Sur suspended operations. "We are continuously monitoring and coordinating with the disaster risk reduction management offices of the affected provinces," Naz said.
