Local Rallies Planned For Man Killed By Deputies In Elizabeth City

Two Triad cities are among eight locations where rallies are planned for Tuesday over the death of Andrew Brown Jr., who was shot to death by deputies in Elizabeth City in April.
The places where the rallies are scheduled stretch from Asheville to Elizabeth City, with Winston-Salem and Greensboro included.
They’re being planned by Repairers of the Breach, the North Carolina Council of Churches, and an organization called B.R.I.D.G.E. The groups say they want more accountability in the case.
