Local News Briefs: Peller Design receives funding for solar system

Energy development funding awarded
ZANESVILLE - The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Energy for America Program has awarded $10,159 to Howard Peller Design Services to install a Solar PV system to offset the electrical consumption of two households. 
The Rural Energy for America Program supports agricultural producers and rural small businesses. The program provides guaranteed loan financing and grant funding for the purchase, installation and construction of renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements.
South Zanesville Council to meet
SOUTH ZANESVILLE - South Zanesville Village Council will at 7 p.m. May 3 in council chambers, 24 E. Main St. A park committee meeting will be prior at 6:30 p.m.
