Local Jewish students raise $3,600 for Israel by baking challah

The group from Temple Chabad in Chestnut Hill sold about 100 loaves, raising $1,800. That amount was matched by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the global nonprofit run by Medford-bred Michael Bloomberg.
