Local Books: A matter of public policy

This month, Jonathan Lipow, a professor of economics in the Defense Resources Management Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School, is releasing “Public Policy for Progressives,” a text which elevates the critical thinking and communication process to rigorous analysis. Particularly when used to identify and understand public policies, he says, that are both consistent with their values and, likely, to actually work. Then, students must have something to say.
