DANVILLE, Va. â The Riverwalk Trail is bursting with color, thanks to the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History, along with dozens of production or installation community partners.
The Wanderlove exhibit took approximately six months to complete, culminating in an install which took place in June. According to DMFAH Director Elsabe Dixon, the project is the outcome of a wide variety of groups coming together to create a masterpiece comprised of many unique individual parts.
âThere are 25 community groups involved,â Dixon said. âWe reached out to these groups, and they reached out to their people, and thatâs how we put it together. So, knitting while apart on something that comes together.â
