By the end of this course you will understand how to have formal coaching conversations with your team that increase their performance, create more proactivity and give them confidence to achieve their professional goals. This course is designed by an aid worker with 12 years' experience in international development and covers the challenges that aid workers typically face when coaching a team - cultural differences, working in fast paced environments and so on.
This course is for supervisors who want to learn how to empower their teams to perform their best, and move away from the "telling" form of supervision. The course is six weeks so that you have enough time for practicing and gaining confidence in how to ask powerful questions, understand the structure of a coaching conversation and what needs to happen for a successful conversation.
